Wonderful reflections, impressions, and, yes, they do remind me of the Monet water lily exhibit. In fact, my next etching will be thus inspired, though not an easy medium to suggest the fluidity required! I have done water lilies before one of which can be seen in my developing print portfolio - hidden until clicked upon at the end my blog. I also like very much your previous abstractions with the blue flowers lower down - how painterly one can get with the camera when love of the realistic can be overcome!
Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

The blues, the hues are so perfect when nature does it. I think there is no substitute for the natural wonders.
